Fire & Fragrance School of Revival & Transformation
Walking in a Marriage of Prayer and Missions
The Vision: Revival and Transformation in the nations of the earth through intentional communities centered around valuing the presence of God through worship, intercession, and passion for Jesus! Imagine the transforming power of the gospel being lived out through communities living a life of deep devotion on an individual and corporate level flowing into anointed outreach in the hearts of individuals and spheres of society! The marriage of gazing and going, the monastic and the missional, communion and dominion, fire and fragrance.
Fire and Fragrance: School of Revival and Transformation is a five-month course being run in Kona in conjunction with YWAM and Burn 24-7. The school will begin with three months of in-depth discipleship, teaching, and impartation on the following subjects:
• A lifestyle of worship and prayer
• Authentic community
• Intimacy with the Jesus
• The power of intercession
• The revelatory gifts
• The supernatural
• Power evangelism
• Revival and reformation history
• Spiritual disciplines
• Character and leadership development
• Biblical world view
• Community Transformation
During these three months we will be taught by many of the fathers and mothers in the missions and prayer movements from around the world. As a final project for the course, each student will be presenting a strategy, developed from research, teachings and prayer, for seeing transformation in an area of the world that the student feels called to.
Fire and Fragrance DNA
• Ministry to the heart of the Lord -- Validating worship and prayer as central to our relationship with the Lord individually and corporately
• Missional communities -- Basing life around God’s presence and deep relationship with each other. Our fundamental belief is that the 1st commandment and the 2nd commandment lived out in community will inevitably lead to fulfillment of the Great Commission
• Explosive outreach -- Releasing the passion and heart of God received in His presence to individuals and every sphere of society through supernatural outreach marked by love, signs and wonders, and salvations.
• Authentic discipleship -- Raising up an army of believers with fiery zeal, a life based in the absolute authority of the Bible, a radical devotion to purity, and uncompromising integrity
• Global impact -- Marked by the burning heart of the Lord to show his love to every nation on earth. The willingness to enter into great sacrifice to see the gospel reach the hardest and darkest places on earth.
Outreach Description
After three life-changing months in Kona, the school will be sent out to the nations to put into practice all that has been imparted and to begin to implement the strategies for transformation developed throughout the school. The outreach will be made up of two months of partnering with existing and pioneer works, such as Burn 24-7, with similar values and desires. We aim to establish a missions platform on the “fire” of ministering to the heart of the Lord in worship and prayer and the “fragrance” of changing lives with the loving, powerful presence of God. The outreach will be made of a combination of worship and prayer, teaching and training local believers, and many forms of spreading the gospel to the lost. We desire to see Fire and Fragrance sending teams all over the world, partnering with ministries God has already established as well as pioneering in new ministries. We desire to see teams formed around a longing to see transformation in certain regions of the world. The outreaches are a mandatory eight weeks, but are open ended for teams or individuals that wish to stay longer.
