The 24-week Community Transformations YWAM-DTS (12 week lecture phase and 12-week field assignment) is designed to launch a generation of Nation Disciplers and Changers; people who will bring to life what God has been dreaming of since before the world was created! A generation of Prayer -fueled Missionaries that minister His love to the lost.
Come discover the depths of who God is and partner with him to see lives transformed.
You can expect 40 plus hours weekly of challenging, life-changing classes from world renowned speakers. As a school we come before the Lord daily in YWAM Kona’s House of Prayer and take the message of Jesus to the streets in Kona Town. Outreach locations are chosen early on so you can begin to engage with the Lords heart for your outreach nation.
Field Assignment: All Community Transformations Field Assignments are 12 weeks in duration.

Meet the school leaders The Reids
UofN Kona campus - Community Transformation DTS - Bethany and Jeff Reid (school leaders) (Elijah, 11 Carter, 4 and new baby boy on the way!):
Jeff has been with YWAM for the past 6+ years, Bethany for the past 9 and together with our great boys we have traveled and worked over 30 countries. We are totally passionate to see Christians living radical lives that CHANGE all areas of the world around them! Living out genuine community and pursuing the Lord just stokes our heart.
Our experience is with YWAM-DTS, Training and working to raise awareness of and bring solutions to issues of global injustice - modern day slavery in particular. In our spare time we enjoy music, cooking, challenging books, sports, Fashion and hanging-out with good friends.
Course dates and fees
This school will run for 24 weeks, starting on September 30, 2010, and ending in March 25, 2011. Fees for the 12-week lecture phase of the school are approximately $4,300 (room, board and tuition). You may book your ticket by the 25th or the 26th. There are significant fee discounts for students from developing nations. Fees for the 12-week field assignment include airfares, housing and food, and they are estimated to be $5,000-$6,000. Pay fees online
