Does your heart cry out for transformation and revival in a place where those who work in it influence the world? Broadway, Bollywood, Hollywood, Grammys, Oscars, Tony’s, studio lots, orchestra pits... Is God calling you– has He called? Actor, dancer, painter, writer, director, chef, Pastor, Minister, or any area of passion! Are you already working in the industry or believe God is calling you there?
If so, then come and get founded in God’s Word and His purposes. Allow God to transform your heart, strengthen your character and your walk with Him, so that you can create and communicate Who He is through your life.
We will engage with the themes:

• Seeing all of life from God's perspective
• Embracing redemption
• Becoming more like Jesus
• Reaching out to God's World
• Knowing God and Making Him Known
Field Assignment
The lecture phase will be followed by an 8-12 week outreach, focused on places like Los Angeles and India that are a hub for arts and entertainment.
This field assignment will provide a cross-cultural experience as we engage with the Arts & Entertainment hubs across the world. (Hollywood, Bollywood, etc. … ) At these we will look not only at the industry but also engage with people in surrounding communities. There will be opportunities to encounter people in places like hospitals, prisons, orphanages and villages. Many recognize this as an invaluable experience that can impact the way we view God's world. We will also engage with local ministries working in the industry and any other opportunities as God opens doors.
DTS, arts and entertainment focus, is a place to come aside with God and allow Him to strengthen you as you are championed to fulfill your call.

Meet the School Leader
Melissa Fenton was born in Sydney, Australia. During her years in school, dance drama and music were her companion all the way through to University, where she studied theater, worked at a local theme park and began her journey in the industry after landing an agent.
After finishing University, Melissa felt called to serve God, so she joined the local YWAM base where she did her DTS. This led to her discovering her other passion- discipleship. Now with experience in arts & entertainment as well as training and discipleship, she is combining her passions to serve Him and this school.
So, with a heart for championing people to fulfill their call and a passion for arts and entertainment, she stands with excitement and expectation for what the Lord will do with the A&E DTS.
Course dates and fees
This school will run for 24 weeks, starting on January 6th, 2011. Fees for the 12-week lecture phase of the school are $4,210 (room, board and tuition). There are significant fee discounts for students from developing nations. The cost is $3,210 for B category and $2,210 for C category nation students. Fees for the 12-week field assignment include airfares, housing and food, and they are estimated to be $5,000-$6,000.
