YWAM helped me fully surrender my life to Jesus. I figured out that I want to serve the poor. I serve on a team that is providing education and healthcare. We also build homes for these families and help them start small businesses.
In my community development school I learned that God wants to empower families to overcome their poverty. We are showing the people how to see God and find solutions using the gifts God has given them.
I found God’s calling for my life and fully surrendered to Jesus.
I learned that God puts the resources a community needs inside of the people. We can help them discover their strengths.
I learned that God wants to use our knowledge and skills but we shouldn’t forget to partner with the Holy Spirit. God wants to show up in miraculous ways.
I’m using my gifts to serve others and seeing families in extreme poverty impacted by the gospel.
